Earlier posts suggested, more than suggested, that aging women protagonists, especially if they’ve got ambition and skills and a sustaining hope of love, are anathema to editors.  Surprising to me, that posting got little attention. The posting that did get attention, twice as much, was the one saying that women writers write a lot more, and a lot better, men than men write women. Four times as many men as women wrote in to say that men can write women. I don’t fault the men; they’re men, after all, but where are the women in this discussion? What’s more, at the Gloucester event, when I talked about the anathema thing, the aging women, readers all, writers plenty, turned their heads away. Help me out here.

  1. Ken, please indulge us and fill us in on the details. I would like to know why you would suspect Romney more likely than Obama to ὖchip away” at our 2nd amendment rights. I believe Romney would be much more protective of these rights than our current president. If you don’t have any evidence then I suspect you are just a troll wasting our (and your own) time.

  2. Não vou fazer comentários inteligentes, vou deixar os créditos todos para ti! (que medicação é que te deram pah? Ou foi dos vapores?)O vídeo do Chris Rock está genial.E ainda bem que ganhou o Barry.
